Michel Huneault started doing photography through his research and field work in international development and peace building settings over the last 15 years. Starting 2008, he became fully dedicated to photography, yet still focusing on the same themes as previously, and started to produce various magazine assignments on international issues and historical events. He has also been collaborating with international organizations on documenting their field work. Michel's work is inspired by the documentary and humanistic traditions, confronted with the aesthetics and inquiring doubts of contemporary art forms, with a constant outlook on social issues linked to development, disasters, and war.
